Oakham is a pretty, traditional English market town, bustling with activity. Rutland County Museum is a great place to get to know the fascinating history of the county and explore the exciting archaeology discoveries. Oakham is also home of the Oakham Castle, the longestrunning seat of justice in England and was first recorded being used as a court in 1229.
